Wasted! The Story of Food Waste Film Screening Photos

Thank you for attending the Environmental Documentary Screening of Wasted! The Story of Food Waste on February 28th!

We had a great panel discussion with City of Santa Monica Zero Waste Coordinator, Chanel Kincaid, Vucacious Catering Owner and Executive Chef, Kim Vu and Imperfect Produce's  LA Outreach Team Lead, Alyssa Seibert. As always, our goal is to educate and follow that education up with action.

Here are the action items we encourage you to take.

Action Items:

1. Develop creative recipes for food instead of throwing it out and don’t over shop!
2. Take the Meatless in March Pledge at www.sustainablesm.org/meatlessinmarch
3. Participate in the Meatless in March Scavenger Hunt 2018 on the GooseChase app
4. Compost
5. Donate food to a food bank
