In anticipation of World’s Ocean Day, Join us for Shrinking Shores
Explore climate change impacts and solutions on Santa Monica’s beaches
The City of Santa Monica's Office of Sustainability and the Environment and Sustainable Works are working with the State Coastal Conservancy and coastal communities across California to educate and engage the community on the impacts of sea level rise. 
  • Learn from City officials and local nonprofit organizations on what’s being done to prepare for sea level rise
  • Explore sea level rise through virtual reality
  • Take a walking tour of the Santa Monica Beach Dune Restoration pilot project
  • Then join us for networking, food and drinks provided by Back on the Beach!

Zero Waste Event - Please discard all waste in a sustainable manner to minimize waste...ideally ZERO! 

Bring Your Reusable Mug! Coffee will be provided by Back on the Beach, 

Ride don't drive, if you can. If you do have to drive, parking is availalbe at the Annenberg Community Beach House.
